Kruger left Australia on 25 August 2004.  He stayed with Lee-Ann Kemp and Jenny Dodunski in New Zealand who handled him to his New Zealand Champion title as well as enjoyed his company while he was with them.

Kruger's next stop was Ontario, Canada, with Linda Philp (Kabu Siberians)
